Linwood takes a trip to paradise (gorgeous, breathtaking landscapes in Southeast Asia) with his wife who is there on a ‘work trip’  for a retreat for a uptight ‘how to make money and have it all’ author, when the trip takes a turn for the worst.  Guerrillas/terrorists take control of the five-star resort and start taking the hostages, demanding a  substantial ransom. Linwood’s wife is one of the hostages and when it looks like the officials can’t make any headway on the crisis, Linwood takes matters into his own hands.
