Overview
Veronica seems to have everything - youth and beauty, boyfriends and a loving family, a fulfilling job. but something is missing in her...the will to live. So, one cold November morning Veronica decides to die, but her suicide attempt goes wrong and she wakes from a coma to find she will soon die from a damaged heart. Through the story of her remaining days Coelho encourages the reader to believe in hope and follow his or her own dream with out the fear of being seen as mad.
