El astronauta capitán Charles 'Chuck' Baker aterriza en Planeta 51. Creyendo ser el primero en pisar su superficie, descubrirá para su sorpresa que ya está habitado por unas curiosas personas verdes que viven en un mundo que recuerda a los Estados Unidos de los inocentes años 50, sumidos en la paranoia de una inminente invasión alienígena. Con la ayuda del joven Lem y sus amigos, Chuck intentará regresar a su nave antes de ser capturado.

Did not like this movie. It had scens not fit for children. Like when the astronaut stands up and his blanket falls off and they comment that "it is a funny place to put his antenna". Plus the green characters were ugly. I did not like the fact that the American landing on this planet was a stupid, fearful American. I have a sense of humor but NO other country is put down in the media but us. I am an American and I don't like ANY movies putting us down with humor or anything else.
